The Chattri Service to commemorate the contribution of Indian soldiers during WW1 is taking place on Sunday 9th June 2019 at 2.00 pm. The address is Standen Lane, Brighton BN1 8ZB. Everyone is welcome.
As part of the Centenary commemorations, there is a show on 17th October at the Dome which explores the contribution of Ethnic Minority soldiers of the First World War through Dance, Music and Puppetry.
This commemoration is to honour and remember the 1.5 million Indian combatants and non-combatants who contributed to the First World War and to acknowledge their legacy and historical value to the City of Brighton and Hove
